1Praise Yehovah. Praise the name of Yehovah; Praise him, O you servants of Yehovah,
2You who stand in the house of Yehovah, In the courts of the house of our God.
3Praise Yehovah; for Yehovah is good: Sing praises to his name; for it is pleasant.
4For Yehovah has chosen Jacob for himself, And Israel for his own possession.
5For I know that Yehovah is great, And that our Lord is above all gods.
6Whatever Yehovah pleased, that he has done, In heaven and in earth, in the seas and in all deeps;
7Who causes the vapors to ascend from the ends of the earth; Who makes lightnings for the rain; Who brings forth the wind out of his treasuries;
8Who struck the firstborn of Egypt, Both of man and beast;
9Who sent signs and wonders into the midst of you, O Egypt, Upon Pharaoh, and upon all his servants;
10Who struck many nations, And slew mighty kings,
11Sihon king of the Amorites, And Og king of Bashan, And all the kingdoms of Canaan,
12And gave their land for a heritage, A heritage to Israel his people.
13Your name, O Yehovah, endures forever; Your memorial name, O Yehovah, throughout all generations.
14For Yehovah will judge his people, And relent concerning his servants.
15The idols of the nations are silver and gold, The work of men’s hands.
16They have mouths, but they do not speak; Eyes they have, but they do not see;
17They have ears, but they do not hear; Nor is there any breath in their mouths.
18Those who make them shall be like them; Yes, everyone who trusts in them.
19O house of Israel, bless Yehovah: O house of Aaron, bless Yehovah:
20O house of Levi, bless Yehovah: You who fear Yehovah, bless Yehovah.
21Blessed be Yehovah out of Zion, Who dwells at Jerusalem. Praise Yehovah.
