John 21

1After these things Yeshua manifested himself again to the disciples at the sea of Tiberias; and he manifested himself in this way. 2There were together Simon Peter, and Thomas called Didymus, and Nathanael of Cana in Galilee, and the sons of Zebedee, and two others of his disciples. 3Simon Peter says to them, I am going fishing. They say to him, We also are coming with you. They went out, and entered into the boat; and that night they caught nothing. 4But when day was now breaking, Yeshua stood on the beach: yet the disciples did not know that it was Yeshua. 5Yeshua therefore says to them, Children, have you anything to eat? They answered him, No. 6And he said to them, Cast the net on the right side of the boat, and you shall find. They cast therefore, and now they were not able to draw it in because of the multitude of fish. 7That disciple therefore whom Yeshua loved says to Peter, It is the Lord. So when Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he girded his coat around him (for he was naked), and cast himself into the sea. 8But the other disciples came in the little boat (for they were not far from the land, but about two hundred cubits off), dragging the net full of fish. 9So when they got out on the land, they see a fire of coals there, and fish laid on it, and bread. 10Yeshua says to them, Bring some of the fish which you have now caught. 11Simon Peter therefore went up, and drew the net to land, full of large fish, a hundred and fifty-three: and although there were so many, the net was not torn. 12Yeshua says to them, Come and have breakfast. And none of the disciples dared to inquire of him, Who are you? knowing that it was the Lord. 13Yeshua comes, and takes the bread, and gives them, and the fish likewise. 14This is now the third time that Yeshua was manifested to the disciples, after he had risen from the dead. 15So when they had eaten breakfast, Yeshua says to Simon Peter, Simon, son of John, do you love me more than these? He says to him, Yes, Lord; you know that I love you. He says to him, Feed my lambs. 16He says to him again a second time, Simon, son of John, do you love me? He says to him, Yes, Lord; you know that I love you. He says to him, Tend my sheep. 17He says to him the third time, Simon, son of John, do you love me? Peter was grieved because he said to him the third time, Do you love me? And he said to him, Lord, you know all things; you know that I love you. Yeshua says to him, Feed my sheep. 18Truly, truly, I say to you, When you were young, you girded yourself, and walked where you wished: but when you are old, you shall stretch out your hands, and another shall gird you, and carry you where you do not wish. 19Now this he spoke, signifying by what manner of death he should glorify God. And when he had spoken this, he says to him, Follow me. 20Peter, turning around, sees the disciple whom Yeshua loved following; who also leaned back on his breast at the supper, and said, Lord, who is he who betrays you? 21Peter therefore seeing him says to Yeshua, Lord, and what shall this man do? 22Yeshua says to him, If I will that he remain until I come, what is that to you? You follow me. 23This saying therefore went out among the brothers, that that disciple would not die: yet Yeshua did not say to him, that he would not die; but, If I will that he remain until I come, what is that to you? 24This is the disciple who bears witness of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his witness is true. 25And there are also many other things which Yeshua did, which, if they were written every one, I suppose that even the world itself would not contain the books that would be written.
